What a great night in Macroom on Sunday 5th! Rebecca performed a charity fundraiser concert in probably the smallest venue she was ever in - The Briary Gap Theatre, Macroom, Co. Cork (250 seater). It was a terrific night. I particularly enjoyed Rebecca's rendition of ABBA's - The Winner Takes It All (1st time ever - so far as I know - she's done an ABBA song (apart from CHESS of course)) and White Christmas. The audience were in a very singalong mood especially for the song Bright Blue Rose by Jimmy MacCarthy who is a native of the area. And Kenny Shearer's rendition of MacCarthy's, Ride On was superb also (opening up Act 2). Cheers Rebecca and Kenny and Merry Xmas to all here. ROLL ON ... BLOOD BROTHERS....
